What is natural latex?

Natural latex is the sap harvested from the Hevea brasiliensis tree. At Gudgumz, we source our latex from the rubber belt of Kerala, India, and process it into utility products that retain 94–99% of the natural polymer's properties. It is a renewable, biodegradable material that differs significantly from synthetic petroleum-based rubbers.
